Regions Behavioral Health is a voluntary facility, meaning you choose to come here for treatment and you can leave when you wish. This creates a more therapeutic environment where patients are active participants in their recovery. We don't handle involuntary commitments.

Length of stay varies based on individual needs. Inpatient psychiatric care typically ranges from 5-14 days, focused on stabilization. Detox may be 3-7 days depending on the substance. Our IOP program runs for several weeks with sessions multiple times per week. Your treatment team will work with you to determine the right duration.

Yes, we encourage family involvement in recovery. We have scheduled visiting hours and offer family therapy sessions. With patient consent, families receive updates on treatment progress. Supporting loved ones is part of the healing process for everyone involved.

Bring comfortable clothing, personal hygiene items, a list of current medications, insurance cards, and ID. Leave valuables, electronics, and anything potentially harmful at home. Our admissions team will give you a complete list when you call. We provide everything else you need during your stay.
